The Chief Agricultural Officer, in the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries, Ashley Caine made the suggestion while giving the featured address at yesterday’s launch of a project to support the development of coconut water and composite flour in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Meanwhile, Heiko Bamm-ann, the Value Chain and Agriculture Officer at the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), which funds the project, said that in implementing this project, stakeholders must be careful not to negatively impact the street coconut vendors.
