The University of the West Indies Open Campus will collaborate with the Embassy of the Republic of (China) on Taiwan to host an Information Sharing Session this afternoon on the 2016 Taiwan Scholarship Programme.
A release from the UWI Open Campus says the main presentation at the event will be delivered by Taiwanese Ambassador to St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Baushaun Ger.
This will be preceded by a short video presentation on the history and culture of Taiwan. Graduates of Universities in Taiwan would also share their experiences with prospective students.
The event is being held as part of the mandate of the Open Campus to engage and deepen relationships with institutions and organizations providing opportunities for students to access Higher Education.
The session is open to the public, especially interested students and graduates of the Community College and the University of the West Indies.
It takes place from five this afternoon at the UWI Open Campus Lecture Hall.
