The Forestry Department said it will be implementing a number of measures to deal with the Armadillo also known as Tattoo, an invasive species found throughout St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
That’s according to Senior Forestry Supervisor, Cornelius Richards, while speaking on the Face to Face programme aired on NBC Radio this week.
Mr. Richards said the species continue to grow in numbers and is increasingly becoming a cause for concern.
Mr. Richards said the Forestry Department is exploring ways of managing the species.
