Business owners and operators in St. Vincent and the Grenadines are being urged to ensure that the persons under their employ are of good moral character.
The advice comes from Head of the Major Crimes Unit of the local Police Force, Inspector Atlan Browne.
Inspector Browne said the police is concerned with the increasing number of burglaries, which were committed by persons who were hired without the necessary research.
Meanwhile, Inspector Hezron Ballantyne of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) commended the police officers who risk their lives each day in the service of the people.
