Some twenty-thousand US dollars has been allocated to this country for the development of the Coconut Industry.
This is part of a project coordinated by the Caribbean Agricultural Research and Development Institute CARDI and the European Union.
Representatives from CARDI were here last week to network with stakeholders in the Coconut Industry.
They conducted a one day workshop on “Production of Quality Coconut Planting Material.
In his address at the opening of the workshop, CARDI’s Representative Dr. Compton Paul outlined the Agency’s aim for the project.
Dr. Paul also highlighted what is needed for the development of a thriving Coconut Industry.
