The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Botanic Gardens is appealing to more Vincentians to visit the site to learn more about animal and plant species which are native to the country.
Curator of the Gardens, Gordon Shallow said while they have experienced an increase in visits many people are still not aware of what exists at the Botanic Gardens.
He says while they have a packed programme of activities is planned for the Botanic Gardens this year, they also offer a tour package to inform and educate people more about the gardens.
Mr. Shallow is also appealing to members of the public who have unique plants to be a part of their plant exchange program to have these species grown and documented at the Botanic Gardens.
