The National Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (NTRC) says it is currently preparing to hold the finals of the Third Annual Idea and Innovation Competition, known as the I-Square Competition, this week.
During the competition students put forward ideas that can implement new systems or improve existing systems in the current departments within the Public service of St Vincent and the Grenadines and other state agencies that provide services to the public.
The NTRC says these improvements can lead to cost savings or result in the faster delivery of that service.
Universal Service Fund (USF) Project Officer at the NTRC, Keisha Gurley said twenty groups from learning institutions across the country have been chosen for the grand finale which takes place on Thursday January 14th at the National Insurance Services (NIS) Conference Room.
Miss Gurley said they are expecting to see a very competitive final judging from the quality of submissions which they received during the preliminary judging.
