January 4th, 2015 marked the first shipment of local produce for 2016 from St. Vincent and the Grenadines to the region.
Minister of Agriculture, Saboto Caesar was on site, at the Port Authority and witnessed the activities that were taking place.
Minister Caesar said there are some problems facing regional trade, and his Ministry plans to address them this year.
He further noted that this country produces excellent quality goods, but that poor packaging can hamper sale prices.
