Today marked the first shipment of local produce for 2016 from St. Vincent and the Grenadines to the region.
Minister of Agriculture, Saboto Caesar was on site, at the Port Authority this morning to witness the purchasing and other activities that were taking place.
Minister Caesar said there are some problems facing regional trade, and his Ministry plans to address them this year.
He noted that this country produces excellent quality goods, but highlighted that poor packaging can hamper sale prices.
