The International Airport Development Company, IADC, is continuing to work on the International Airport at Argyle, with a view towards commencing operations early in the New Year.
Public Relations Officer at the IADC, Jennifer Richardson, says work on the project has been continuing throughout the Christmas Season.
Miss Richardson said finishing work is being done in the area of the Terminal Building.
Last month, the Eastern Caribbean Civil Aviation Authority (ECCAA) witnessed the landing of four small aircraft at the Argyle International Airport, to test the runway approach or Precision Approach Path Indicator Lights
The IADC said the test is one of several that will be carried out as the airport gets ready for operation, within the first quarter of 2016.
