A call has been made to the Government of this country, to give more financial support to the Fair Trade Organisation here.
This from the Chairperson of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Fair Trade Organisation (SVGFTO), Denniston Samuel.
As the organisation holds its 15th Annual General Assembly, Samuel said that the Government could assist the organisation with money derived from the sale of the Windward Islands Banana Development and Exporting Company (WIBDECO).
The Chairperson added that there are many challenges that have befallen the SVGFTO over the last few years, but that the organisation is still up and running.
