Leader of the New Democratic Party Arnhim Eustace on Monday announced that all elected members of his party will take up their positions in parliament, in an effort to not endanger the seven seats the NDP now holds.
Speaking on his weekly radio program yesterday, Eustace, said his party going to the parliament is not a legal acceptance of the results of the recently held General Elections in St. Vincent and the Grenadines; but has been legally advised against not being sworn-in, since such action could result in the NDP losing all the seats it now holds.
The New Democratic Party- NDP said while it has taken the decision to be sworn-in in parliament it will be continuing with legal actions in protest of the outcome of the December 9th 2015 General Elections.
Eustace added that while the NDP will take up its position in parliament it will adopt a practice to further the aims of the party.
