Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Trinity School of Medicine, Dr. Conrad Nedd, is encouraging persons to take advantage of the testing facilities available to know their HIV/AIDS status.
He made the during the Views On Issues programme aired on NBC Radio, which focused on the topic: ‘Tackling HIV/AIDS using a community approach’.
Dr. Nedd said while testing is available at no charge, many persons are afraid to come forward and get tested.
Dr. Nedd said efforts must be made to encourage more at-risk persons to get tested.
