The fifteen Candidates who will be contesting Wednesday’s General Elections for the Opposition New Democratic Party were launched on Saturday night at the Victoria Park.
The team headed by Arnhim Eustace representing the constituency of East Kingstown have pledged to implement proposals that will breathe new life into the economy.
The other candidates are Lauron Baptiste from North Windward; Kenroy Johnson – North Central Windward; Noel Dickson – South Windward; Addison Thomas – South Central Windward; Curtis Bowman – Marriaqua; Dr. Linton Lewis – East St. George; Dr. Julian Ferdinand – West St. George; St. Clair Leacock – Central Kingstown; Daniel Cummings – West Kingstown; Nigel Stephenson – South Leeward; Benjamin Exeter – Central Leeward; Roland Matthews – North Leeward; Dr. Godwin Friday – Northern Grenadines and Terrance Ollivierre – Southern Grenadines.
In his address, Mr. Eustace gave the assurance that once given the opportunity by the electorate, an NDP Government would ensure that the country becomes buoyant again and the team is committed to that cause.
Mr. Eustace said if elected, the New Democratic Party will make major decisions with respect to all of the country’s Economic Sectors.
