Greggs FC are the new champions of the National Lotteries Authority North East Football Championship following a 3-2 victory on penalties over LP Boys yesterday after the match ended goalless at the end of regulation time at the Chili Playing Field in Georgetown.
Brownstown Most Wanted won by default from Carib Warriors to clinch the third place.
The Presentation Ceremony is scheduled for Friday at the Chili Hard Court in Georgetown.
Sion Hill Football Results
Uptown Rollers advanced to the final of the Sion Hill Football Championship yesterday after a 5-4 victory on penalty kicks over Walvaroo City in the first semi-final. The teams had played to a goalless draw at the end of regulation time.
Volcanoes and COMPUTEC VINCY Masters will meet in the 2nd semi-final on Wednesday from 4:30 pm also at the Sion Hill Playing Field.
Breakaway Firms Football Results
Samuel Matthews scored twice to give CWSA a 2-nil victory over Transport and Works yesterday in the semi-finals of the Digicel Aeropost/St. Vincent Brewery Breakaway Firms Invitational Football Championship at the Grammar School Playing Field.
Also yesterday, Ministry of Education defeated Fisheries 3-2 on penalties following a 1-1 draw at the end of regulation time.
During regulation time Troy Wyllie netted for Ministry of Education, while Daniel Patrick scored for Fisheries.
In Agricultural Input Warehouse Under-16 Division Knockout yesterday, Belfongo Youths beat A-DARE 2-1 and Volcanoes defeated System Three (1) 1-nil.
On Saturday in the Senior Division Knockout Competition, CWSA won from Combined Banks 2-1 and Transport and Works also had the same score-line victory 2-1 over Coreas and Hazells.
In the Agricultural Input Warehouse Under-16 Knockout Competition, System Three (1) beat System Three (2) 3-nil, Beelfongo Youths won by default from Fisheries and Largo Height and A-DARE drew nil-nil.
At 4:30 pm today, ED Laynes and ECGC will meet in a penalty shootout and the winner will play against Transport and Works at 4:45 pm.
North Leeward Football Results
Marco Charles scored (2) goals and Jemuel Samuel (1) as Rivals of Petit Bordel defeated North Stars 3-1 yesterday in the Rudy’s Electrical North Leeward Football Championship at the Petit Bordel Playing Field.
The goal for North Stars was scored by Kendall Douglas.
On Saturday, Alliance of Petit Bordel beat New Paradise of Fitz Hughes 5-2.
Nicolas Solomon and Junior Delpeche scored two goals each for Alliance. The other goal was scored by Xavier King.
The goal scorers for New Paradise were Ashley Spring and Saville Murray.
At 4:15 pm today, Outstanding Gauge of Barrouallie will meet P’ Boys also at the Petit Bordel Playing Field.
Games in the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Community College Inter Divisional Sports continued on Friday 13th November at Sion Hill.
In the National Lotteries French Verandah SVG Community College Inter Divisional Football Competition, Year One Technical got past Year One Arts, Sciences and General Studies 3 goals to 1 with Shamar Ollivierre, Jonathan Grant and Sajered Mc Dowall netting for Year One Technical. The lone goal for Year One Arts, Sciences and General Studies came from the boot of Cody Horne.
In Friday’s second game Year Two Technical went under to Year Two Arts, Sciences and General Studies 2- 0. Deshawn Kydd and Floyd Ollivierre were the scorers for Year Two Arts, Sciences and General Studies.
On Monday, the final league game will bring together Year Two Arts, Sciences and General Studies and Year One Arts, Sciences and General Studies from 2:00pm at Sion Hill.
In the ECGC SVG Community College Inter Divisional Netball Competition, Year One Technical and Year Two Arts, Sciences and General Studies will complete their rain affected game that is tied 7 a piece, from 1:30pm, after which Year Two Technical will play Year Two Arts, Sciences and General Studies from 2:30pm at the Villa Campus Court.
Bequia Football League Results
A goal each from Keon Lewis and Shane Glynn gave defending champions “GABBA” Boys FC a 2-1 victory over Herman’s Belmar South Side United yesterday in Hairoun Beer Bequia Football League at the Clive Tannis Playing Field in Port Elizabeth.
Jamal Ollivierre scored the goal for Herman Belmar South Side United.
At a quarter past four this afternoon, O-SO-SO CO-CO Tenants will play against Bequia Development Youths also at the Clive Tannis Playing Field.
Mustique Football Results
Shin Boyea and Akran Edwards netted a goal each as Lot 73 Strikers defeated Jig Saw United 2-1 yesterday in the Mustique Football League at the Mustique Playing Field.
Allan Gibson scored the goal for Jig Saw United.
On Saturday, Rock Rollers beat Simplicity Sharks 3-nil. Kyle Greaves scored two goals for Rock Rollers and they benefitted from an own goal scored by Simplicity Sharks.
Play in that League will continue next weekend.
