President of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Teachers Union, Oswald Robinson has implored the nation’s Teachers to conduct themselves in a professional manner during the ongoing campaign for General Elections.
Mr. Robinson made the plea, during his address at the Rally held at Heritage Square yesterday afternoon, following the Annual Teachers Solidarity March.
Mr. Robinson also touched on the strikes of 1975, and pointed out that forty years after teachers still face challenges, as he lobbied for members support of the Union and pushed for them to work together towards a common goal.
The March and Rally were held to commemorate the 40th Anniversary of the Teachers’ Strikes in 1975.
