Persons who turn 18 after the special voter registration period ends, but before December 9th will not be permitted to vote in the 2015 general elections.
Supervisor of elections Sylvia Findlay- Scrubb told NBC news that the only persons who will be eligible and allowed to vote in the December 9th General Elections are those persons who would have attained their 18th birthday on or before the 23rd of November, when the special voter registration period comes to an end.
The elections supervisor says she knows that there are a number of disappointed young persons who had hoped to vote in the 2015 general elections.
