While Vincentians do not need an identification (ID) card to vote in the December 9th 2015 general elections, they are being advised to get their ID cards.
Supervisor of elections Sylvia Findlay-Scrubb told NBC news that having an ID card is very important, as it not only speeds up the voting process, but also makes the process much easier.
Findlay-Scrubb says temporary ID cards will be issued to persons who would have lost their IDs and would have made a report to the electoral office.
Additionally Findlay Scrubb says other approved photo identification will be accepted on Election Day.
