A-DARE and System Three (1) will contest the Agricultural Input Warehouse Under-16 Division Final of the Breakaway Firms Invitational Football Championships after they won semi-final matches at the weekend at the Grammar School Playing Field.
A-DARE defeated Volcanoes 4-1 on penalties following a goalless draw at the end of regulation time.
System Three (1) beat Layou also by a 4-1 margin after both teams tied 1-1 at the end of regulation time.
During regulation time, Jerron Dopwell scored for System Three (1) and Kennijah Joseph netted for Layou.
In the quarter-finals of the Senior Division, Ministry of Education defeated E. D. Laynes 6-5 on penalties following a 1-1 draw at the end of regulation time.
Christopher Harry netted for Education during regulation time and Joeniel Swift converted for ED Laynes.
A goal each from Orlan Clouden and Mikey Irish secured a 2-nil win for CWSA over C.K. Greaves.
Fisheries beat the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police 2-1. Winsbert Harry and Jerroy Phillips netted the goals for Fisheries. Demris Daniel scored Police’s goal.
And, Bevon Burgin scored twice to give Transport and Works a 2-1 victory over Toni Combined Stores. The goal for Toni Combined Stores was scored by Dwayne Hewitt.
At 3:15 pm today, Toni Combined Stores will meet CK Greaves in a Knockout match of the Senior Division also at the Grammar School Playing Field.
And yesterday, A Jimmy Gordon goal gave Toni Combined Stores a 1-nil win over C.K. Greaves in the Knockout match in the Digicel/Aeropost/St. Vincent Brewery Breakaway Firms Invitational Football Championships at the Grammar School Playing Field.
Today at 4:15 pm, Customs and Finance will meet Gibson Building Supplies in another Knockout match of the Senior Division also at the Grammar School Playing Field.
