The Caribbean Meteorological Organization (CMO) does not anticipate that there will be any problems with cross winds at the Argyle International Airport. That’s according to Mr. Glendol DaSouza, CMO’s Scientific Officer.
Mr. DaSouza gave the assurance as he discussed a Wind Study commissioned by the Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines for the Argyle International Airport.
He explained that the cross winds at the Argyle Airport are within the range allowed by the International Civil Aviation Organisation, (ICAO).
The Caribbean Meteorological Organization is a specialized organization set up by the Caribbean Community to organize common systematic and technical interests in weather, climate and water related fields in sixteen (16) English-speaking Caribbean countries.
And The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) is a specialized organization set up by the United Nations to overseer the administration and governance of the Convention on International Civil Aviation (Chicago Convention).
