Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves addressed the United Nations General Assembly on the night of Tuesday September 29th, urging the international community to step up efforts to address the issue of terrorism.
The Prime Minister said international terrorism is a threat to all countries and stamping it out must be a shared and pressing priority.
The Prime Minister also said that the International Community should turn its attention to resolving the border dispute between Venezuela and Guyana.
More than two hundred State Leaders are expected to speak at the Assembly, making it the largest ever gathering of World Leaders at the United Nations.
It ends on October 3rd.
