After a few years absence the St. Vincent Grammar School hosted what was commemorated as “Old Boys Day” on Monday September 21st 2015 at the school’s premises at Richmond Hill.
A release from the School said the re-introducing of this activity is an attempt to promote a greater level of interaction between the present group of students and the school’s past students.
According to the release, the staff of the St. Vincent Grammar School believes that the 700 plus student population can gain inspiration and motivation from the wisdom and experience of many of those who, received their secondary education at the esteem learning institution.
The release said the format for this year’s activity was a simple one where past students were invited to visit the school and make short motivational talks, presentations and speeches to students in their classrooms.
It said the presentations were relevant and appropriate to the students’ level of maturity and development.
