The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, Consumer Affairs and Information Technology is appealing to Vincentians especially senior citizens and adults to join the technological age, as St. Vincent and the Grenadines seeks to continue its development in the field of Information and Communications Technology (ICT).
Science and Technology Co-ordinator within the Ministry, Phillip Jackson says Digital technology continues to play an integral role in the everyday lives of people throughout the world.
He said, however many adults are still not initiated into the use technology and they are apprehensive to be a part of the digital age.
Mr. Jackson is therefore appealing to communities to form Technological groups which can host activities to ensure that everyone is on board as the country moves into the digital age.
He highlighted that when everyone is involved, then technology will have greater positive impacts on life and livelihoods in the country.
