Financial practitioners from member countries of the Eastern Caribbean currency Union (ECCU) will be involved in a Train the Trainer’s Workshop on October 20th.
Resident Representative of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB), Elritha Dick-Miguel, said the workshop will form part of activities to observe Financial Information Month, which is celebrated in October.
Mrs. Dick-Miguel said the workshop is among a number of regional activities designed to promote financial awareness throughout all member countries of the Eastern Caribbean Currency Union (ECCU).
Mrs. Dick-Miguel said a number of activities will be held locally to observe the month.
Financial Information Month (FIM) forms part of an ECCU public education programme to promote awareness and understanding of general financial and economic issues among the citizens.
