The government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines has acquired several pieces of equipment, which are expected to significantly improve the rate at which roads are resurfaced here.
Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves spoke of advancements in this area during a recent sitting of Parliament.
Dr. Gonsalves said the Government has commenced the use of two highly specialized pieces of equipment called ‘Asphalt Zippers’, on a number of road improvement projects.
Dr. Gonsalves said the machinery will result in increased productivity in road construction.
