Local Police Officials and other Stakeholders are being sensitized on the implementation of the Regional Security System Police Law Enforcement Accreditation Program today.
Deputy Executive Director and Accreditation Manager of the RSS, Bertie Hinds will discuss the program at a Meeting today at the Police Canteen in Kingstown.
The Program entails the process of transforming Member States Police Organizations into contemporary and relevant institutions designed to meet the needs of all stakeholders.
The aim is to provide Police Organizations with a body of professional and internationally recognized standards that formalizes essential management procedures, promote efficient use of resources and improved service delivery.
A release from the Police Force says a wide cross section of Police personnel, selected members of Government Departments, representatives of non-governmental organization and the media will attend the meeting.
