Minister of Agriculture Saboto Caesar has been speaking of the tremendous potential which exists for the marketing of Vincentian agricultural produce in the region.
Minister Caesar highlighted the opportunities which exist in this area, during his remarks at a ceremony held on Friday 7th, to mark the signing of a Technical Co-operation Agreement between the Republic of China on Taiwan and the Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
The Agreement will enable the start of a four-year project, aimed at Strengthening Farmers’ organizations and Improving Fruit and Vegetable Production Technology in St Vincent and the Grenadines.
Addressing the ceremony, Minister Caesar said potential markets exist in the region, for large volumes of agricultural produce from St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
The four-year project is valued at three million US-dollars.
