The local National Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (NTRC) is embarking on a mission to rectify what they have identified as three major issues affecting broadband penetration in this country.
Managing Director of the NTRC, Apollo Knights while briefing the media this morning said the commission has found that only 40 percent of households here have a broadband connection, there is a lack of funding for broadband related issues and an insubstantial quality of service.
Knights says that the quality of broadband is very important, especially with the proposed LIME and Columbus merger.
