The 2015 GECCU Scholarship Awardees have been urged to develop a strong sense of self-worth, as they embark on their Secondary School career.
The advice came from 2003 GECCU Scholar Jerand Phills, as he delivered the feature address at the 34th Annual Scholarship Award Ceremony, hosted by GECCU on Monday.
Mr. Phills, told the awardees that very often, young people will give up on a dream, because of doubt and fear.
Meanwhile, Paige Cadogan, who placed 1st in this year’s CPEA examinations, expressed her gratitude to GECCU and promised to work hard to maintain the required standards.
Twelve students who performed well in the recently held Caribbean Primary Exit, CPEA Examination, were officially presented with Scholarships Awards from GECCU during Monday’s ceremony.
