The Central Water and Sewerage Authority is reminding Vincentians that proper waste disposal practices begin at home.
This statement was made by Collection Superintendent at the CWSA, Greg Francois as the CWSA continues to appeal to Vincentians to practice proper waste disposal throughout the country.
Mr. Francois is also appealing to Vincentians to find ways of reusing organic waste to lessen the impact of these on the Landfill.
He said Organic waste pose environmental problems at the Landfill when they deteriorate producing an unpleasant odor and even attracting rodents and he is appealing for more Vincentians to practice proper waste reduction.
