Chairman and CEO of the International Airport Development Company, IADC, Dr. Rudy Matthias, says that he expects the Terminal Building for the Argyle International Airport to be ready for operation by September of this year.
Dr. Matthias was speaking at a ceremony held at the Kingstown Port on Thursday, following the arrival of airbridges to be installed at the Argyle International Airport.
He informed the media that scanners are being retrofitted and a Firm out of New Zealand is installing conveyer belts. He said the work should be completed, on both the domestic and international terminals by the end of this month.
Dr. Matthias however noted, that intermittent weather has hindered the pace and amount of work being done.
