A four year old girl is nursing injuries at hospital today after sustaining a gunshot wound on the weekend.
The incident reportedly occurred at Rose Place around nine o’clock Saturday night.
Police say the child was playing with friends near a public bath when gun shots rang out.
She is said to have received a bullet to her upper right thigh.
The child is presently admitted at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital.
It’s unclear who the intended target of the shooting was.
Police say two people are assisting with their investigation into this incident.
