Members of the Digicel Nelson Bloc Mas Band are celebrating, after emerging victorious in the 2015 Senior Band of the Year Competition.
Nelson Bloc amassed a total of 560 points to take the top spot with their production: Soccer: The Game of the People.
The Blondie Bird and Friends Mas Tent was awarded 543 points and was adjudged second with the production Illusion-Never See Come See.
SVG Players International was 3rd with 514 points for their production Masquerade, while High Voltage Mas Production took the 4th spot, with 492 points for their production Candy World. Ahdrenalin Mas Band was fifth, with 488 points for their production: An Eastern Travelogue
Meanwhile, Nelson Bloc was also first in the Best-Use-of-Colour segment. Blondie Bird and Friends was second and SVG Players International third. High Voltage Mas Production took the 4th spot.
