A top PAHO Official has said that a healthy enabling environment is necessary in order for a population to be healthy.
PAHO/WHO representative for Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean, Dr. Godfrey Xuereb (Shreb) was addressing a forum on Monday on the theme “Health in all Policies”.
He said that all stakeholders in the health sector have to work together in order to ensure that a broader benefit across the population.
Dr. Xeureb added that limiting factors which hinder healthy lifestyles cover a large spectrum of industries and sectors. He says it’s not just under the portfolio of “health”.
