Activities to mark Public Service Week are continuing today with a Staff Exchange within the Public Service, and a Public Servants Appreciation Day is also planned for tomorrow.
Yesterday, the Ministry responsible for the Public Service put on an exhibition in Kingstown to highlight the work done in various sections of the Public Service,
Deputy Director of the Public Sector Reform Unit, Emma Jackson said the exhibition provided information on how the Public Service has helped this country to achieve the UN’s Millennium Development Goals
Mrs. Jackson said that the exhibition also provided the public with information on Departments which are not well known to the public.
The activities are being held under the theme: Come Lets Celebrate the Value and Virtue of Public Service to the Community.
