Today saw 145 young ladies from the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Girl’s High School (GHS) end their tenure in secondary education.
The school boasts a 97.9 percent pass rate in this 2015 CXC examinations, with 14 girls tacking 12 subjects, and 4 achieving grade 1s in all 12 subject areas.
Feature speaker Michelle Samuel expressed an understanding of the emotions the students might be feeling, as she too was once in their shoes.
Samuel suggested to the graduates that happiness and success are not a destination, but a journey, and advised them to live each day deliberately because each day will impact their lives. She added that school days are happy, but there is more on the road ahead.
