The criticisms of the public service are sometimes justified.
Chief Personnel Officer, Corriene Gonsalves while addressing graduates of a Jr Customs Officers training programme on Monday said that things can be changed to make an improved public service, and those changes will spark a chain reaction.
Gonsalves added that there is something lacking in the service, even though many persons have potential to be better public servants. She implored the graduated to improve upon their practice, and to reflect upon the training to perform at a higher standard.
