Damion Dublin is the 2015 National Table Tennis Champion here after defeating Deighton King 5-11, 8-11, 11-7, 11-8, 11-7 in last weekend’s Final in the Men’s Division of the Standard Shippers/KPMG National Table Tennis Champions at the West St. George Secondary School in Belair.
In the semi-finals, Dublin beat Kavir Gaymes 11-9, 13-11, 12-14, 11-4, 11-1, and King won from Javir DeShong 12-10, 15-13, 11-13, 11-2, 11-3.
Andre Mitchell won the Junior Title after an 11-6, 11-13, 11-6, 11-7 victory over Chrislan Fraser in the Final.
The Cadet Championship was won by Saeed Bowman who beat Rondre John 12-14, 11-5, 11-7, 13-11 in their Final encounter.
Saeed Bowman teamed up with Andre Mitchell to win the Junior Doubles Title Finals after defeating Chrislan Fraser and Rondre John 11-4, 11-7, 10-12, 11-7.
Joseph Carrington and Damion Dublin are the Senior Doubles Champions. They beat Sean Stanley and Saeed Bowman 11-7, 11-8, 11-4 in the Final to win the Title.
In the Masters Division, Sean Stanley defeated Junior Byron-Cox 11-7, 11-8, 11-4 to emerge Masters Champion.
Chrislan Fraser was voted the Most Improved Player of the Championships.
