Local Police are advising Vincentians and visitors to be on the look-out for pickpockets during the Carnival Season, especially in areas where there are large crowds.
The advice came from Station Sergeant Hezron Ballantyne during the On the Beat programme, aired on NBC Radio last week.
Station Sergeant Ballantyne noted that there are some areas where persons may be more vulnerable to pick-pockets.
Meanwhile, Sergeant Cheryl James says the Police are adopting a preventative approach to fighting crime during the Carnival Season.
