There are a little over 80, 000 eligible registered voters in this country, but almost 9,000 of those people still have not updated their ID cards.
At a media briefing yesterday, the Supervisor of Elections, Sylvia Findlay, stressed the fact that a citizen of this country does not have to be in possession of the newer form of ID card in order to be eligible to vote.
Findlay says however, that if your name is not on the voter list, you cannot vote.
