In an effort to reduce this country’s food import bill, The Ministry of Agriculture, in collaboration with CARDI and the FAO, has embarked on a project of introducing composite flours to the market.
The Ministry hosted a Training Workshop on the Production of Composite Breads and Bakery Products, using Cassava and Sweet Potato.
Minister of Agriculture, Saboto Caesar says that there are many benefits for St. Vincent and the Grenadians from the production of these products.
But he said that all stakeholders must work in harmony in order to ensure the success of the project
Minister Caesar urged persons in the production of the products to ensure that their products are always competitive.
