Members of the Wesleyan Holiness Church will gather in Buccament on Sunday for a special thanksgiving service.
It follows an accident on Sunday in which a bus load of worshippers narrowly escaped death when their van plunged over an embankment, sending everyone on board to hospital.
Officials say most of the victims were children, including a five year old.
The District Superintendent of the Wesleyan Holiness Church – Reverend Cordelia Gibson says it was a miracle that no lives were lost in the accident.
The accident victims were returning from a Sunday school rally in Georgetown to mark the end of Child month when the accident occurred.
Reverend Gibson says the church is seeking to arrange for counselling services for the children who have been left traumatized by the incident.
