Police Commissioner Michael Charles says that St. Vincent and the Grenadines has a “Fast Food” culture when it comes to solving crime. He says that this could stem from the fact that on television crime dramas, results are almost instantaneous.
The commissioner says that the constabulary is doing its best to solve and combat crimes and thanks the general public for their cooperation. He however added, that sometimes the judicial process takes a long time.
He went on to say that while witnesses can be reluctant in coming forward, the force’s campaign to foster a better relationship with the community, has rebuilt trust.
