The National Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (NTRC) is currently holding a series of visits to Schools across the country to advocate for more use of technology.
Universal Service Fund (USF) Project Officer at the NTRC, Shanka Edwards tells NBC News thus far the program has been very successful.
Miss Edwards said they are also using the sessions with the students to promote the I-Square competition for 2015/2016, which will be launched on September 10th.
She said the Competition is geared towards allowing students from Secondary and Tertiary level Institutions to put forward ideas that can implement new systems or improve existing systems in the current Departments within the Public service and other state agencies that provide services to the public.
She also outlined the schools they have visited thus far.
Miss Edwards said the students are very receptive t5o the information which they are disseminating and the program continues to grow.
