Reverend Adolf Davis while delivered his keynote address at the graduation ceremony for participants of a Leadership and management in Health course, offered online by the University of Washington.
Reverend Davis said that leadership implies a journey, while a manager doesn’t necessarily move. He said that some managers have a primary principle of maintaining the status quo, while others have a sense of destination, of taking people somewhere.
Rev. Davis said that leadership is most effective when leaders understand followership, and that experience and education, doesn’t make you better than others.
