A Motion on Foreign Policy is among matters listed to be dealt with, at a meeting of Parliament set to take place here today.
The Motion to be moved by Government Senator Jomo Thomas, calls on the Parliament to endorse the content and conduct of the Foreign Policy of St. Vincent and the Grenadines as being profoundly in the interest of the people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, the Caribbean, the Western Hemisphere and the international community.
The Order Paper also includes six Bills, five of which are listed to receive their first reading.
These are; the Geothermal Resources Development Bill; the Cheryl Adams Pension Bill the Representation of the People Amendment Bill and two private Bills.
A select Committee report is also expected to be tabled on the Anti-Terrorist Financing and Proliferation Bill
There are also thirteen question listed for oral answers from the opposition.
Today’s meeting is scheduled to begin at ten this morning at the Assembly Chamber in Kingstown.
