St. Vincent and the Grenadines has achieved significant milestones with regard to the laws that protect the nation’s children.
That’s according to Minister of National Mobilization and Social Development, Family and Gender Affairs, Frederick Stephenson.
He was addressing stakeholders at the opening of the workshop on training for risk assessment and mental health screening in the Juvenile Justice Reform Program.
The Minister said the Workshop plays an important part in the implementation of the Juvenile Justice Reform Project.

The four-day Training Workshop is being held in collaboration with, USAID, UNICEF and The OECS.
It is taking place at The Sunset Shores Beach Hotel.
