2015 Fisherman of the Year Ray Anthony Clarke says he is overwhelmed with his success in this year’s Fisherman’s Month of activities, which culminated yesterday at the Calliaqua Playing Field.
Mr. Clarke walked away with the title, after netting 3111.8-pounds of fish, following weeks of competition.
Speaking with NBC’s Colvin Harry following the conclusion of yesterday’s Prize-Giving and Award Ceremony at the Calliaqua Playing Field, he said he was elated to be adjudged overall winner.

Mr. Clarke will receive a 75 horsepower engine, a trophy and three life jackets, among many other prizes.
Andre Gould and Philroy Matthews were second overall with 1811 pounds of fish, while Vilma Tucker and Bernard Dublin were third with 1430.2 pounds.
The award for the heaviest catch of the day went to Andre Gould and Philroy Matthews, who netted 364 pounds.
