Persons are being encouraged to be on the lookout for counterfeit cash while conducting transactions during this festive season.
The issue of counterfeit dollars was highlighted in Monday’s edition of the Police on the Beat Program.
During the program Station Sergeant Hezron Ballantyne spoke of the features to be aware of in the genuine Eastern Caribbean Dollar.
Mr. Ballantyne discussed some of the distinguishing marks and the Identification of serial numbers on Eastern Caribbean notes.
