Vincentians have been urged to implement various measures to control the use of water as the country is experiencing a dry season.
The Central Water and Sewerage Authority (CWSA) says that as a result of the continuing lack of rainfall, water supply from its intakes at Dalaway and Montreal have been significantly reduced.
As a result the CWSA is urging citizens to observe strict water conservation measures, including restricting the watering and washing of vehicles with hoses.
The CWSA says caretakers of Schools and public buildings must ensure that waste is eliminated and the public is asked to report all leaks promptly to the Company.
